Men's Winter/Spring 2012/13

...................................................................................................................................................................
It has been almost three years since my last confession. Well, last post at least. I have now decided to relaunch the site - and hopefully publish content more frequently. PS: I now reside in Norway - not Australia - and so for my first post I will talk about the Fall/Winter trends of 2012/13.

JACKETS
..................

As an avid fan of layering I love the winter season - especially jackets. This season fabric blocking seems to be an emerging trend. In laymen's terms, fabric blocking is the combination of two or more contrasting fabrics in a single garment. This trend is not really surprising seeing as colour blocking seemed to be a big hit this summer for many high-end and high street designers. It was the natural evolutionary step. Below you will find some hot picks:

SIMON SPURR

-----------------------------

Simon Spurr is a British designer that is known for making the classic look feel new, yet very timeless. In 2012, the up and coming designer decided to merge his high-end brands SPURR and SIMON SPURR in to a more extensive collection. He has a very exclusive following - including Diddy, Efron, Timberlake and Westwick.

ACCESSORIES

Our female counterparts have always been able to experiement with accessories that are big, bright and over the top. Well, now it's our turn boys.

BAGS

-----------------------------

If you haven't been living under a rock for the past year you must have noticed the revolution in men's bags. The accessory has become one of the key parts of any mans outfit - which was just a few years ago stricly reserved for women.

Now, men have a vast array of bags to choose from. In 2012, we saw everything from big over the top barrel bags to small briefcase type bags. Most bags were in dark fabrics or leather, which is a trend that seems to continue in the coming season. However, some designers are making bold and bright bags for men - even neon and pink. Here are some hot picks:
